Kyrgyzstan’s President Almazbek Atambayev has pointed to the presence of foreign agents in the country, who 'rock the situation'. "I am sure that there are foreign state agents in our country – people who receive money from foreign countries and execute their commands. They have the task of destabilizing the situation. Do we need this?" he asked.
"If you get millions, why are you afraid to speak about it? These NGOs are bigger than parties, their projects are not related to healthcare or education, they work in politics. And they must admit it," the head of state said.
In June, the Kyrgyz parliament approved a bill in which the legislation of the Republic introduces the concept of a foreign agent.
