Russian and US foreign ministers, Sergey Lavrov and Rex Tillerson, discussed in a telephone conversation the situation in Syria after the US air strikes on the military airfield in Homs. The according message was published on the official Russian Foreign Ministry account on Facebook.
"Lavrov stressed that an attack on the country, whose government fights terrorism, plays into the hands of the extremists and creates the additional threats to the regional and global security," the ministry said.
