The spectators of the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics in Baku, speaking with correspondents of Vestnik Kavkaza, expressed their delight of the competitions and thanked the leadership of the republic for the development of this sport in Azerbaijan.
Seville Satulaeva admitted that she liked all the performances. "Of course, I supported Azerbaijan. I was so pleased with performances and costumes. Especially Margarita Mamun, her performance was very beautiful, of course, as well as our Marina Durunda's performance," she said.
A guest from Hong Kong, Marshal, said that he is a fan of the Azerbaijani gymnasts. "Everything here is just amazing. The arena is really nice. I come from Hong Kong as a tourist, because my son moved to Azerbaijan and I decided to see to the World Cup competitions. What I saw shocked me, the program is very interesting. As a guest of Azerbaijan, I support Azerbaijan on this tournament," he said.
Baku itself quite impressed him too. "It is an excellent city, really stunning, it is especially beautiful at night when the lights are burning," the representative of the World Cup Final's audience believes.
Irina Almuratova is also a fan of the Azerbaijani gymnasts. "We are very proud of Azerbaijan and that the performances of our athletes were excellent. We love our head coach Mariana Vasileva and are proud that our girls are also trained here," she noted.
"Of course, we like performances of other gymnasts, especially Russian, but still we are the fans of our team," the spectator stressed.
Recall that today the FIG World Cup Final in Rhythmic Gymnastics started in Baku. It is attended by 26 athletes and nine teams from 17 countries.
