Automated environmental monitoring system to appear in Karachay-Cherkessia

A new environmental monitoring system soon will appear in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. It allows monitoring the state of water resources and the atmosphere, as well as record climate indicators.

Karachay-Cherkessia will install small-sized environmental monitoring stations that will allow monitoring the state of water resources, the atmosphere, and climate indicators, the regional Ministry of Natural Resources informs.

In addition, the creation of a departmental information system in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic is being considered.

According to the ministry, this system will contain data and materials obtained during geodetic and cartographic work.
