Today, the State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan reported that the republic is currently experiencing a real tourist surge: the growth of tourist flow in September amounted to 20.8% or 280 thousand foreign citizens against 232 thousand in September 2018.
Turkmen tourists showed a growth record: 231.8%. The number of tourists from Iran doubled, and from Saudi Arabia grew by 96.1%.
The number of guests from Central Asia increased by 88%, the number of Indian tourists - by 83.7%.
