Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, pardoned or commuted prison terms of 631 convicts on the occasion of the upcoming anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Khamenei granted clemency to the convicts deemed fit to receive it on Wednesday, following a request by Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, PressTV reports.
On Friday, Iran will mark the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
