Rauf Veliyev, chair of CJSC Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (AXDG/ACSC) has presented to the ACSC Advisory Board the results of activity for 2015 and data on the current situation in ACSC, abc.az reports.
According to the Company, Veliyev pointed to the signing of an agreement with EY on the audit of the financial statements and the Report on sustainable development of ACSC and also the contract with Fitch Ratings for ACSC credit rating assessment.
He also underlined that ACSC will soon begin operating six new vessels out of the Caspian, bringing its fleet outside the basin up to 11 vessels.
Veliyev recalled that last year the ACSC staff monthly wages increased by average 15% up to 835 manat. In total, the Company employs 9,000 people.
