Some International Army Games competitions are due to be held in China, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said.
The minister told a conference of the All-Russian Armed Forces Veterans Organization that preparations are underway for the third International Army Games.
Shoigu added that the International Army Games had become a contemporary form of combat training. "Over 100 teams from 19 countries have taken part in them this year. The Russian servicemen have finished first for the second time in a row," TASS cited him as saying.
"It is planned to hold some of the competitions in China, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan," the minister added.
