Azerbaijan and Dagestan discuss development of "North-South"

At the economic forum, which is currently taking place in St. Petersburg, representatives of the authorities of Azerbaijan and Dagestan raised the issue of improving the North-South international transport corridor. Information about this was published by the press service of the government of Dagestan.

It is reported that a meeting has taken place between the head of the government of Dagestan, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shahin Mustafayev.

The Azerbaijani side noted the positive development of joint work on this project.

"Shakhin Mustafayev noted the successful development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation. It was emphasized that through the efforts of the presidents of the two countries, interstate relations had reached the level of strategic partnership",

the press service of the government of Dagestan said.

The press service noted that an agreement was signed between Dagestan and Azerbaijan on the development of cooperation in various areas last year. The agreements are  now being successfully implemented. The cooperation plan will be valid until 2025.
