Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on applying amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences and the Criminal Code, which stipulate a ban on the sale of alcoholic drinks and tobacco products for cash.
If the purchase price ranges from 50 manats up to 1000 manats, a fine amounting from 1000 to 2000 manats, or a punishment in the form of correctional labor for up to one year, or imprisonment for one year will be applied, Sputnik-Georgia reports.
