Azerbaijan’s Consulate General in St. Petersburg has sent a letter of protest to the city administration over the planned tours of the 'Imperial' chapiteau circus to Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region.
“Corresponding letters about inadmissibility of holding this event on the Azerbaijani lands occupied by Armenia have been sent to the St. Petersburg administration and Committee of Culture of this city. It is planned to hold meetings with the official representatives of the St. Petersburg administration, Committee of Culture and Russian Foreign Ministry’s office,” the representative of the Consulate General said.
