As always, Russia remains a priority country for Azerbaijan in terms of attracting tourists, the head of the Association of Tourism in Azerbaijan Nahid Bagirov said today.
"Tourist companies of Azerbaijan will take all necessary measures to attract Russian tourists,'' abc.az cites Bagirov as saying.
The economic crisis affects all world countries without exception. It reduces the tempo of world tourism. The devaluation of the national currency also affected the tourism market of Azerbaijan, particularly the activities of travel agencies, which are mainly engaged in the inbound kind of tourism.
