Azerbaijan increases gas supplies to Italy

According to statistics from Eurostat, Azerbaijan increased natural gas exports to Italy by 2.6% year on year.

In March of this year, 485.1 million cubic meters of gas from Azerbaijan were supplied to Italy. In March last year, this figure was 473 cubic meters.

Despite the increase in gas imports, the price has dropped significantly. Thus, the cost in 2023 was 486 million euros, and this year it dropped to 254 million euros.

Last year, Azerbaijan's gas supplies to Italy amounted to 9.3 billion cubic meters. The total amount was about 5 billion euros.
