The Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan called on Russia to invest in Karabakh. He named Moscow one of Baku's important partners.
At the Caucasus Investment Forum in Grozny, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Sahib Alekperov called on Russian business to participate in the revival of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
The minister called Russia one of Azerbaijan's significant trading partners, noting that the free trade regime increases trade turnover and creates new opportunities for cooperation.
Speaking about investments in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Alekperov called on Russian companies to participate in the revival of the Karabakh and East Zangezur Economic Regions.
The deputy head of the ministry emphasized that such initiatives strengthen the partnership between Moscow and Baku. He also added that the transport and transit capabilities of Azerbaijan develop bilateral economic relations.
