The Azerbaijan Tourism Association proposes measures to ensure the influx of foreign tourists to the country, the head of the Association Nahid Bagirov stated today.
"The proposals involve provision of domestic tourism (incoming) against the background of a decrease in outbound (outgoing) tourism. The fact is that, due to the devaluation of the manat, the country has become more attractive to foreign tourists, who are calculating expenditures for their trip in dollars. We intend to convince the local tourism market participants to begin to actively promote the tourism potential of the country, to promote their services and their prices, which are now significantly lower in foreign currency," abc.az quoted him as saying.
