Azerbaijan will increase oil production by 7 thousand barrels per day in May 2022. This was reported in the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry.
"Azerbaijan supported the decision to increase oil production by 432,000 barrels per day in May, adopted by the ministers of the OPEC+ countries at the regular, 27th meeting", the statement said.
According to the agreements, in May 2022, daily oil production in Azerbaijan will increase to 688,000 barrels.
Let us remind you that in January 2022, Azerbaijan's quota under the OPEC+ deal amounted to 661 thousand barrels, in February - 668 thousand barrels, in March - 675 thousand barrels per day.
