$120 million of Iran's blocked assets in Azerbaijan will be released, the head of the Azerbaijani-Iranian intergovernmental commission for cooperation in the trade, economic and humanitarian spheres, Mehdi Mohtashami, said.
"During a meeting with an Azeri delegation in Tehran, the two countries agreed to release part of $500 million of Iranian money to be entered into mutual trade," RIA Novosti cited Mohtashami as saying.
Iran had previously asked for it from the government and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
