Armenia’s joining the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway is possible only after the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said.
“Our condition remains unchanged. First and foremost, the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be solved, and Armenia must withdraw its troops from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan,” the diplomat stressed.
He noted that after this, any opportunities can be used for cooperation and neighborly relations.
Mammadyarov added that a joint company will be set up to operate the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which will control cargo transportation via BTK.
