The Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani parliament) has criticized the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group, which leads the process of a peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and has called for an alternative way out of the crisis.
"Azerbaijani society has no confidence in the OSCE Minsk Group, and its position was expressed in the final voting in the PACE report on the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, when the co-chairs tried to affect the result in every possible way,'' Zahid Oruj said in an interview with the press.
According to the deputy, the deviation of the report "On the escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan" in the PACE was a consequence of the direct intervention of the OSCE Minsk Group. "Due to such activities, the OSCE lost the Azerbaijani society's confidence,'' Sia.az cites him as saying.
