The Russian specialists who arrived in Azerbaijan earlier and their Azerbaijani counterparts have begun clearing the liberated territories from mines and ammunition, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan reports.
On January 4, within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Emergencies of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, a group of sappers consisting of 20 people arrived in Azerbaijan from Russia.
After the preparations were made for the operation, the clearing of the liberated territory from mines, unexploded ordnance and explosive objects has begun. Search work is carried out on the left bank of the Gargar River in the Agdam region.
