Azerbaijani engineering troops, together with specialists from the Turkish Armed Forces, continue to conduct joint theoretical and practical exercises. This is stated in a message posted on the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan's website.
During the training, in a specially designated engineering town soldiers practice skills in detecting and neutralizing mines and unexploded ordnance with the help of mine detectors.
The Ministry noted that the main goal of the exercises is to increase the combat readiness of the personnel of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces by training the soldiers in the tactical and technical characteristics of engineering and fortification facilities and the rules for their use.
