Azerbaijani defense minister meets Lithuanian PM

The Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, met with Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius.
 
"We are confident that the consultations between the two countries and expansion of cooperation will contribute to the strengthening of peace and security in the Eurasian space,” the Azerbaijani Defense Minister said.
 
The sides stressed the need to intensify international efforts in the fight against international terrorism, all kinds of extremism, aggressive separatism and other threats to international security and stability.
 
The sides stressed successful development of relations between the two countries, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
