The international rhythmic gymnastics tournament Grand Prix Brno Tart Cup 2018 wrapped up in Czech Republic’s Brno. The competition, where the national team of Azerbaijan was represented as well, involved 18 countries in senior and junior programs.
Azerbaijani female gymnast Fatima Akbarova successfully performed in this tournament, reaching all four finals. She took the second place in the ribbon exercise among juniors by scoring 14.450 points and won a silver medal, the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation said.
Another member of the Azerbaijani national team, Darya Sorokina, who performed in the senior program, took the fourth place in the club exercise.
