The qualification group exercises at the European Aerobic Gymnastics Championship ended in Baku. The team from Azerbaijan reached the finals with a score of 19.555 points.
The best result was shown by Bulgarian gymnasts, whose performance scored 22.066 points.
The 2nd place in qualifying competitions was won by Russian athletes with 22 points, and the 3rd - by gymnasts from Romania with 21.983 points.
Also, representatives from Italy (21.961 points), Hungary (21.438 points), Spain (20.472 points) and Great Britain (19.172 points) reached the finals.
The European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships is being held in Baku for the first time. During three-day championships, senior and junior gymnasts will compete in the programs of 'Individual Women', 'Individual Men', 'Mixed Pairs', 'Trios', 'Groups', as well as 'Aerobic Dance', 'Aerobic Step' (only seniors). In the team competition, the winners will be defined for the five best performances. The championships will bring together gymnasts from 22 countries. In total, the gymnasts will compete for 15 medal sets.
