Azerbaijani gymnasts are leading in the 2nd day of the 3rd AGF Trophy International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics: seniors Zohra Agamirova and Alina Gezalova took the first two places in the individual all-around and won gold in the team event. The junior won silver in the all-around event.
Tonight, at the National Gymnastics Arena in the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the winners of the 2nd day of the 3rd AGF Trophy International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics were awarded.
In the individual all-around competitions among seniors, the gold medal was won by Azerbaijani gymnast Zohra Agamirova. Alina Gezalova won silver. Hungarian athlete Evelin Victoria Kocsis became the 3rd.
Zohra Agamirova and Alina Gezalova also received gold medals in the senior team event. Hungarian gymnasts Evelyn Victoria Kocsis and Eva Blanca Gyulai won silver medals, Egyptian gymnasts Amina Sobeih and Lamar Behairi won bronze.
In the team all-around event among juniors, Azerbaijani athletes (Madina Aslanova, Ilaha Bahadirova, Zahra Jafarova, Govkhar Ibragimova, Sakinakhanym Ismailzade, Ayan Sadigova) became the 2nd. Only juniors from Israel performed better than them. The team from Uzbekistan won bronze.
119 gymnasts from 14 countries participate in the 3rd AGF Trophy International Tournament in Rhythmic Gymnastics. 38 gymnasts are representing Azerbaijan.
