More than 1,300 mines laid by Armenian illegal armed formations were neutralized by the Azerbaijani military in the Lachin district. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The ministry explained that since August 15, Azerbaijani engineering units have found and defused 1,318 anti-personnel mines of the PMN-E type, which were laid by Armenian illegal armed units at the heights of Uchdik-Gyrkhgyz-Sarybaba in the Lachin region.
Azerbaijani Defense Ministry clarified that all the neutralized mines are of Armenian production, they were released in 2021.
