An Azerbaijani officer was killed in a mine explosion in Nagorno-Karabakh during the search for those killed in the armed conflict, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Monday.
An officer of the Russian peacekeeping contingent was wounded and four representatives of the Armenian Emergencies Ministry's department" at the occupied Azerbaianji territories were also wounded in the mine explosion, the ministry specified.
According to media reports, the Azerbaijani officer's name was Babek Semidli.
