The international exhibition of food products, beverages and raw materials for their production ProdExpo-2019 has opened at the central exhibition center 'Expocentre' in Moscow.

First of all, I want to congratulate all the exhibitors and thank the organizers for creating such an excellent opportunity for communication. I am very pleased that it was announced here that Azerbaijan is not just a member state, but also a sponsor of many events, which will be held here. I would like to inform you that 31 companies from Azerbaijan are participating in ProdExpo 2019. This is a great opportunity for our manufacturers to enter the Russian market, sign new contracts. As a result, it helps to increase commodity circulation, increase the welfare of our businessmen and, ultimately, ensure the food well-being of our countries' residents," he said.

The ambassador reminded of Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin's recent visit to Baku. "We visited the bridge under construction on the Samur River on the border between Azerbaijan and Russia. They promise to finish the construction at the end of the year. In the foreseeable future, even such distant countries as India and Afghanistan will be able to bring their goods to Russia through Iran and Azerbaijan by the North-South railroad for 15-16 days. We are pleased that, as Russia's friends and neighbors, we will promote the expansion of trade relations of other countries, being a transit country," Polad Bulbul oglu concluded.

This year, Azerbaijan will please visitors with two stands, one of which is the national stand in the salon 'Alcoholic drinks. Wine. Beer'. Visitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the ancient tradition of Azerbaijani winemaking.

The collective exposition 'Made in Azerbaijan' will unite 31 companies offering a range of products: from fresh agricultural products to canned food, from natural mineral water to a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, teas, nuts, dried fruits, confectionery and much more.

The exhibition is organized by “Expocentre” with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.
