BSEC summit kicks off in Turkey

Summit of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) kicks off in Turkey. The event, timed to the 25th anniversary of the organization, will be held in Istanbul on May 21-22.

Today, the meeting of the BSEC countries Foreign Ministers will be held. Heads of states and governments of the member countries will meet on Monday. Russia will be represented by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

During the summit, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim plan to hold a number of bilateral meetings. In particular, the talks between Prime Ministers of Russia and Turkey are planned, during which relations between the two countries will be discussed.

Summit participants will discuss regional economic issues, as well as carry out work on organizational reforms.
