Ordinary citizens of Bahrain have become hostages of the diplomatic conflict in the Middle East after Bahrain, following Saudi Arabia, broke off diplomatic relations with Iran, dozens of Bahraini tourists cannot go home because air connections between the two countries have been suspended.
The Government of Bahrain is trying to take steps for the return of the nationals, but so far nothing can be done with this issue. RIA Novosti reports that the majority of Bahrainis arrived in Iran by ‘Iranian Airlines’, which no longer flies to Bahrain.
