Azerbaijan’s Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Salim Muslumov, and Ukrainian Minister of Social Policy Andrey Reva, who is on a visit in Baku, have signed a program of cooperation in social policy, the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza reports.
Salim Muslumov stressed that this is already the 4th agreement, uniting the two countries in the sphere of social policy. The last agreement was signed 13 years ago - in 2004, it provided social protection of Ukrainian citizens working in Azerbaijan and vice versa.
The minister noted that Azerbaijan and Ukraine have big potential for cooperation in all directions of social policy, noting that more than 500 thousand Azerbaijanis live in Ukraine today.
The study of labor market, employment sphere, insurance and others are among the directions of social policy, where the two countries have big potential for cooperation, he added.
