Baku hosted a funeral ceremony for the two police officers, who were killed during a special operation in the village of Nardaran.
The officers, Vugar Nasibov and Ismayil Tagiyev, were buried in the second Alley of Honor.
The funeral ceremony was attended by the Interior Minister Ramil Usubov, the Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov, the Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, the First Deputy Prosecutor General Rustam Usubov, the First Deputy Minister of National Security Madat Guliyev, the Chief of the Main Security Directorate of the Interior Ministry, Yashar Aliyev, public figures, law enforcement officers and citizens.
Four members of a criminal group were killed during the operation yesterday, while 14 group members were arrested along with their head Tale Baghirov.
