Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said Azerbaijan's Constitution does not prevent it from making peace with Armenia.

Yesterday, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said that both states see significant problems, obstacles in each other's constitutions for establishing peace.

Bayramov emphasized that drawing comparisons between the Azerbaijani and Armenian Constitutions in this regard is unacceptable.

The Azerbaijani minister pointed out that recalled that Armenia's Constitution contains territorial claims to neighboring states, including Azerbaijan.

He stressed that Armenian society and the state recognize these facts as harmful to themselves and therefore are discussing them.

“The Constitution of Azerbaijan contains no territorial claims to any state. It is unacceptable for Armenia to try to create parallelism in this matter,” Bayramov stressed.
