Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum that Baku, if necessary, will increase gas supplies to neighbouring states.
"If necessary, we are ready to increase supplies to neighbouring countries, as we did for Turkey. To increase supplies to Europe, planning is needed,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
He stressed that Azerbaijan has enough gas reserves to supply Europe.
”Today, Azerbaijan produces and exports gas and increases its export capabilities. We have reserves that, under certain conditions, with investments, can also be used during the next 100 years. We have reserves to supply Europe," the minister said.
