UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has delivered a speech against attempts at making the settlement of the conflict in Syria dependent on President Bashar Assad’s fate.
"In principle, the decision on the future of President Assad should be determined by the Syrian people. At the same time, I think it is unacceptable that the entire Syrian crisis and its solution depend only on the the fate of one man. This is unacceptable,’’ Tass cites him as saying.
