Ban Ki-moon condemns terrorist attack in Mali

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned today's hostage taking in Bamako, Mali, his official representative Stefan Dyuzharrik reported.

"The Secretary-General condemns the horrific attack on the Radisson hotel in Bamako, which resulted in the deaths of an unknown number of civilians and many wounded", - TASS quoted him as saying.

Dyuzharrik added that the UN Secretary General also expressed concern that the attack was committed at a time when the country is in the process of peaceful settlement of the conflict and there has been a "good progress" in implementing the agreement between the authorities and the separatists.
