All Georgian ports – Batumi, Poti and Kulevi – have been closed due to a storm, the Maritime Transport Agency reports.
The department explained that the closure of the ports is an element of its normal work in such weather conditions. The measure was not taken due to the emergency status. Ships will be able to enter the ports as soon as the wind dies down.
The storm is already 3 points now in the coastal zone of Adjara. It is expected that it is to increase up to 5 points, Georgia Online reports.
