US President Joe Biden has tested positive for the coronavirus and has mild symptoms, the White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Thursday.
"President Biden tested positive for COVID-19 this morning", Jean-Pierre said in a statement. She clarified that the president had completed a full course of vaccinations, as well as received two vaccine boosters and "is experiencing very mild symptoms". Biden will work remotely until he passes a negative coronavirus test, Jean-Pierre said.
