Iranian search and rescue teams dispatched to Mount Dena southwest of the country managed to find the black box of the ATR 72 plane that recently crashed in the area, killing all 65 people on board, a senior official said, Tansim News Agency reports.
They found the black box of the ill-fated aircraft in the heights of Mount Dena, the deputy head of the crisis management department of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province announced on Saturday.
The climbers, who had received required training from a French team, managed to find the black box and then moved it to the foot of the mountain, he said. The official went on to say that the rescuers also discovered some more bodies of the victims of the tragic incident.
