Due to an accident, 6,000 Stavropol residents were left without electricity, the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
The outage occurred at 11:00 Moscow time. The lights and boilers powered by electricity went out a little earlier.
"2,588 out of 5,836 citizens are in the blackout zone. Of these, 1,424 are children and five socially significant institutions. The accident will be eliminated within two to three hours," the ministry’s statement reads.
