The North Caucasian Federal District's products may appear in supermarkets in many Russian regions soon, they will be united and promoted by the "Made in the Caucasus" brand certificate.
Roskachestvo and Kavkaz.RF jointly decided to help the business of the North Caucasus with the expansion. Goods produced in the region are planned to be marked with a special sign "Made in the Caucasus". This will help the North Caucasian Federal District's commodity producers to expand sales markets and increase production.
Certification system "Made in the Caucasus" will be voluntary, so manufacturers will work with the brand, if they wish. At the same time, such a certificate can be useful for business, as companies registered in the system will receive various benefits. Their products will be able to receive the Russian Quality Mark quickly, and additional support will be provided for branded goods promotion in large retail chains, RIA Novosti writes.
The Caucasus is famous for its good ecology and delicious cuisine, the climate and natural features make it possible to produce unique high-quality food products in the region. In Russia, Adyghe cheese, Ossetian pies, Dagestan cognac, Balkarian ayran, Stavropol lemonades are known and popular. Roskachestvo and "Kavkaz. RF" are aimed at expanding the markets for such goods.
