Brent oil futures with delivery in December moved up above $80 per barrel on the London-based ICE yesterday for the first time since August 29, according to market data.
Brent futures had gained 2.75% to $80.2 a barrel but rolled back later to $80.15 per barrel, up 2.69%.
WTI futures with delivery in November added 3.25% and reached $76.8 per barrel.
As of Tuesday morning oil prices fell more than $1 a barrel: Brent crude futures fell $1.31, or 1.6%, to $79.62 per barrel at around 06:00 GMT (09:00 MSK), WTI futures fell $1.29, or 1.7%, to $75.85 a barrel.
