Brent rises above $42

Oil prices have continued to rise on world markets.

As of 8:37, a barrel of Brent oil rose in price by 0.24% to $ 42.04. At the same time futures for WTI rose 0.15% to $ 39.78 per barrel.

The rise in prices is associated with the statistics of the Baker Hughes company, according to which, the number of US oil rigs dropped by 7 units to 443 pieces this week. This year its number declined by 545 units (55%). It's the lowest level since December 2009, RIA Novosti reported.
