Britain in danger of record "fuel poverty"

Britain in danger of record "fuel poverty"

According to the Observer, the charity National Energy Action has warned of the threat looming over the UK: by the spring, a record will be set for the number of households without money to pay their electricity bills.

This situation is called "fuel poverty", and 4 million households had been "fuel poor" in Britain even before high gas and oil prices raised electricity tariffs in October.

As prices continue to rise, another 2 million households will find themselves below the "fuel poverty" line within three months. And then the level of "fuel poverty" will break the record the previous record in the UK in 1996.
