British ambassador: Georgian verbs really do say it all

British ambassador to Georgia Justin McKenzie Smith posted a picture of the definition of one of the Georgian verbs on Twitter.

He found the meaning of the Georgian verb “შემომეხარჯა” (shemomekharja) very interesting and shared it with his Twitter friends.

The verb conveys the following meaning: "by accident, I spent it all – but I didn’t want to and I am expecting your understanding about it."

"Georgian verbs really do say it all," the ambassador wrote.

Justin McKenzie Smith took up the appointment of Her Majesty's Ambassador to Georgia in August 2016.
