The National Olympic Committee of Hungary has nominated Budapest as the choice of venue for the Summer Olympics in 2024.
The International Olympic Committee started to accept applications on January 15th. The deadline to submit bids is September 15th. According to the results, at the 130th IOC Session in Lima in 2017 it will be decided which city will be the capital of the Olympics, TASS reports.
Previously, Rome, Hamburg, Paris and Boston voiced their intentions to compete for this. Baku and Istanbul are also among the contenders.
