Ukraine’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has publicized the voting results from the presidential race after processing 80.39% of the ballots.
Head of the Servant of the People party Vladimir Zelensky has garnered 30.41% (compared to 30.45% when 70% of the vote had been counted).
Incumbent President Pyotr Poroshenko has secured 16.03% (he had 16.19% after 70% of ballots had been tallied up). Leader of the Batkivshchyna party Yulia Timoshenko who has secured 13.24% (13.15% after 70% of ballots had been counted) took third place, TASS reported.
Leader of the Opposition Platform - for Life Yuri Boyko (11.55%) and head of the Civil Position party Anatoly Gritsenko (7.03%) came in fourth and fifth, respectively.
