The Communist People's Party of Kazakhstan (CPPK) took the decision at the 10th extraordinary congress in Astana to participate in the upcoming elections on March 20.
The congress approved the list of candidates, which includes 22 people, including six deputies of the fifth convocation led by the head of the Communist People's Party, Vladislav Kosarev.
It also includes presidential candidates in 2011 and 2015, Zhambyl Ahmetbekov and Turgun Syzdykov, respectively, TASS reports.
