Caspian Cup 2015 starts in Dagestan

Russian Navy Commander Admiral Viktor Chirkov will open naval competitions "Cup of Caspian-2015" and "Caspian derby-2015" today in Dagestan, the representative of the press service of the Defense Ministry, Igor Dygalo, said.

"The opening ceremony of the international competitions "Cup of Caspian-2015" and "Caspian derby-2015" will be held on August 3 in Kaspiysk under the leadership of Russian Navy Commander Admiral Viktor Chirkov," he said.

The ceremony will be attended by the head of Dagestan, Ramazan Abdulatipov, the Governor of the Astrakhan Region Alexander Zhilkin and war veterans, RIA Novosti reports.

The contest will be held on August 3-15 in the Caspian Sea.
