The Bank of Russia and the Central Bank of Iran have signed a memorandum of understanding. The document was signed during the meeting of working group on financial and banking cooperation of the permanent Russian-Iranian commission for trade and economic cooperation.
The meeting, which was chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Central Bank Dmitry Skobelkin and Deputy Chairman of the Iranian Central Bank Golamali Kamyaba, was also attended by representatives of Central Banks of the two countries, major Russian and Iranian credit organizations, Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Russian Foreign Ministry.
